KCB is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and talented individual to take up the position of:
Head, IT Quality Assurance & Application Development
The Position: Reporting to the Director, IT, the position is Responsible for the Quality Assurance and Application Development and Evolution of IT systems used by, developed or procured by the Bank. Ensure that all IT Systems are developed in line with the approved Software Development Process and Enterprise Architecture Framework and within the Bank policies and best practice.
The role is also responsible for the quality management and control of solutions delivered for use by the bank.
For the above position, the successful applicant should meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field
- Professional IT certification in the following is desirable; ESB/SOA, Java Certification, Oracle Certification, Enterprise Architecture and ITIL
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the field is required, 5 of which should be in a senior management position and may include experience in:
- Quality Assurance
- IT Projects
- IT Banking Operations
- IT Banking Systems and/or
- Emerging Technologies
