About the company: Established in 2011, Roamtech is a technology company that produces market-leading solutions for consumers and business through innovation in mobile-enabled technology such as Mobile apps, USSD, Bulk SMS and Shortcodes.

At Roamtech, we develop and maintain proprietary platforms and systems for high-volume sending and receiving of messages across mobile platforms.

Role Description: Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales and Marketing Executive will execute all sales activities to help the company meet its business objectives.

Duties and responsibilities of the Sales and Marketing Executive will include:

  • Acquiring new customers for mobile messaging solutions – Bulk SMS, USSD, Shortcodes
  • Cross selling and upselling new products to existing clients to increase revenue per client
  • Build relationships with existing and potential clients for repeat business
  • Build rapport with corporate clients to be the go to provider for mobile and software development.

Technical competencies

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with mobile VAS sales is highly advantageous
  • Higher Diploma or Degree is an advantage

The Sales and Marketing Executive will be;

  • A person with good interpersonal skills.
  • An out of the box thinker to everyday business challenges.
  • A highly organized individual with high attention to detail.
  • An aggressive marketer with tenacity to push through to seal a deal.
