New Coffee House Brand Operations Manager Vacancy in Nairobi

Duma Works is recruiting an Operations Manager for one of our clients in Nairobi.

Our client is a new coffee house brand that has entered the Kenyan market with the objective of offering a friendly quick ‘grab n go’ service, serving a range of espresso based coffee drinks and a variety of teas as well as a range of popular coffee accompaniments/ snacks.

The coffee house will initially operate three outlets within Nairobi with plans for a further roll out.

The Job

The company is looking for an Operations Manager.

The operations manager will be accountable for the achievement of each stores target, planning, organizing and coordinating with the branch/store supervisors for efficient and profitable services of food and beverages.

The Operations Manager has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of the cafes, ensuring compliance with company standards as well as local health and safety regulations.

Areas of operations include product delivery, customer relations, maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruitment and retention of team members, financial accountability and ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer.

Qualifications

  • A diploma in hospitality management or equivalent is the minimum, preferably from institutions like Utalii College.
  • Prior experience of at least 3 years in managing a restaurant at the level of branch/restaurant manager is a requirement.
