Consultancy assignment to carry out a project audit in Kenya
Background: Edukans foundation promotes education in Kenya by supporting partners in training and educating young people for a better life through a skills development program called LEARN4WORK and implemented in Nairobi, Nyeri, Narok and Kisumu regions.
Learn4work program was a 2-3 year project aimed at improving vocational education and training so as to make a positive contribution to;
- The number of young people who can learn a trade;
- Quality vocational education and training
- Better alignment with the and flow-through to the job market.
The project was coordinated by Edukans Foundation and co-financed by the Netherlands Ministry of foreign affairs and implementing partners.
The strategies of implementation were through partnerships, enhancement of capacities of partners and individuals and linkages to and with the labor market.
With the closure of the project, we are seeking a reputable and experienced auditor / firm to carry out an end term audit of respective projects
Interested skills and experience
Interested registered accounting and audit firms are invited to submit their expression of interest (EOI) stating their experience in auditing similar project audit assignments
The EOI should contain a brief narrative of the company profile alongside experience in working with NGO in similar contexts as well as a CV/resume for lead consultants who will be working on the assignment.
