Commercial Manager – Sales Job in Kenya

Our client is a well established company with over 50 years as market leaders in their sector. 
They are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager – Sales to market products across East Africa. 
The Commercial Manager-Sales reports to the Chief Executive Officer and will work closely with Regional Heads of Departments.

Job Profile

  • To develop and implement business development strategies and plans. This will involve working closely with Regional Sales Manager, Regional Service Manager and Technical Sales Manager.
  • Identify new market opportunities and taking a lead in successful business proposals that will secure new contracts and long term client relationships for the organization.
  • Assist in embedding a commercial client service focused approach to all business processes and activities.
  • Support the development of performance standards within the sales and service departments to ensure the service is responsive to and meeting the needs of its customers.
  • Contribute to the development of culture improvement within the organization ¡n order to meet financial and performance targets.
  • Contribute to the development, communication and promotion of corporate core purpose, vision, mission and values.
  • Management of the department’s budget to meet the strategic and operational business plans.
Person Profile
  • BSc. Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (desirable). 
  • Other qualifications with relevant experience will also be considered.
    Good working knowledge of Sales and Marketing management.
  • 5 years in a similar role.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and have a friendly and outgoing personality.
