Events and Marketing Coordinator

Location: Nairobi

Our client, a leading and reputable online dating company with Head Offices in Australia and a regional office in Kenya is seeking to recruit an Events and Marketing Coordinator.

This position is responsible for the conception, planning, marketing and coordination of events and activities within Kenya.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Researching and conceiving of appropriate events and activities
  • Planning, venue booking and arranging logistics, accommodation and catering
  • Developing budgets and financial forecasts for events
  • Preparing marketing material for events
  • Coordinating events to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Processing post event feedback forms
  • Qualifications in marketing or a relevant discipline
  • At least 2-3 years experience in marketing and events management
  • Ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines
  • Must have strong organisational and time management skills
  • A strong focus on customer service and satisfaction with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have knowledge of Social Networking and Online Dating with strong attention to details.
