Introduction


Reporting to Supply Chain Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction to KenGen overall business strategy and manage robust and structured Tenders and Contracts function within supply chain department.

Minimum Requirements

Ideal candidate should have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/ Economics/Business Administration or Purchasing & Supplies Management.
  • Diploma in Supplies Management of KNEC/CIPS/National Universities
  • Must be Ms Office proficient and having working knowledge of SAP ERP.
  • Be a member of KISM with minimum of 10 years, three (3) of which must be at the level of Chief Supply Chain Officer or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of procurement regulations and contract administration is critical in this position an
  • Good Leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills
