Card Business Development Manager
  • Develop new card products while ensuring vitality on existing ones
  • Identify and develop new business proposals
  • Formulate business development plans and strategy
  • Maintain good relations with Key Clients
  • Coordinate and supervise Senator sales team
  • Carry out marketing research, benchmarking and competitor analysis on products
  • Develop promotional strategies and liaise with advertising agencies in formulating effective product positioning and publicity messages
  • Develop sales strategies and liaise with branches and other sales agents to achieve sales target of the various types of products
  • Establish service level standards and guide cardholder service section to ensure high customer service quality in the department
  • Periodically conduct product knowledge workshops and adhoc training sessions for branch front line staff
  • Market corporate card business and enhance existing corporate card business through effective Relationship Management
  • Market corporate card business and enhance existing corporate card business through effective Relationship Management
  • Facilitate the provision of high quality service to corporate clients and ensure that customer queries are timely addressed
  • Suggest and identify opportunities for improvement of the bank’s service and products
  • Cross-selling of the banks products and services
  • Perform such other duties and assume any other duties as may be delegated from time to time by the Management
Knowledge & Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Strategic Management
  • Demonstrated hands on experience at Senior Management level on innovation/product development
  • An MBA would be an added advantage
  • Computer literate
  • 3 Years experience in Bank card Business, Marketing/Product Development Dept.
  • Ability to work under pressure and get things done
  • Ability to communicate effectively both oral and in writing

  • Should display understanding of the latest developments and emerging trends in the market place with regard to card solutions
  • Should be result-oriented, possess the ability to work under pressure and deliver on time

  • Advanced report writing and presentation skills
