Marketing Coordinator
Reporting to: – Marketing Director

Roles and Responsibilities

Major role comprises of developing, coordinating and executing marketing functions including, but not limited to: advertising campaigns, events & sponsorships (including tradeshows, promotional stands and networking opportunities) and marketing collateral (including tools, templates & promotional materials). 

Administrative components include tracking lead and sales data, maintaining a marketing materials inventory, coordinating & following up on meetings and preparing marketing-related reports.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities

Advertising Campaigns
  • Research, analyze & offer recommendations for print and online advertising opportunities targeting potential Lifecare clients;
  • Communicate with publications and/or advertising partners that approach Lifecare to determine the value proposition’s alignment with Lifecare marketing goals & objectives;
  • Liaise with copywriters, designers & advertising partners to coordinate the production of advertising material in line with the technical requirements, logistics and sales objectives;
  • Work with other members of the marketing team to set-up systems & processes for measuring the ROI of advertising campaigns;
Events & Sponsorships
  • Research, assess & offer recommendations for hosting & attending different types of events designed to increase brand awareness and generate leads for Lifecare;
  • Communicate with partners to identify opportunities co-branded events, promotions and networking opportunities;
  • Coordinate events from conceptualization, development and communication through to logistics, execution and follow-up;
  • Identify and/or follow-up on Sponsorship opportunities designed to increase brand awareness and strengthen Lifecare’s corporate values;
  • Develop a Marketing Events Calendar for Lifecare, ensuring effective planning and project management of upcoming events;
  • Work with other members of the marketing team to set-up systems & processes for measuring the ROI of sponsorships & events;
Tools, Templates & Marketing Collateral
  • Liaise with Lifecare staff members & departments to determine how Marketing can support them with development of tools, templates & marketing collateral;
  • Coordinate the development of tools, templates & marketing collateral, working with copywriters, designers and relevant stakeholders
  • Create and manage an inventory/library of tools, templates and marketing collateral that is organized, efficient and easily assessable to relevant stakeholders;
  • Initiate a variety of activities designed to increase the exposure of Lifecare’s brand in the market and to generate leads & sales;
  • Initiate, develop and maintain relationship with PR contacts;
  • Work with the Lifecare Team, including copywriters and leadership to develop strong PR articles that are informed by the strategic goals and objectives of the company
  • Fulfill with efficiency all the necessary administrative requirements of the roles & responsibilities outlined herein;
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing marketing data relating to the roles & responsibilities of this position;
  • Communication & Relationship Management
  • Manage relationships with the all the relevant stakeholders of projects & initiatives;
  • Provide ongoing marketing support to other departments (including sales & operations), identifying their needs, determining resources, gaining approvals and executing projects as necessary;
  • Manage internal communications between the Marketing Department and other staff members and departments;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners;
Confidentiality & Ethics
  • Ensure full compliance with the companies third party non solicitation policy which prohibits the earning of fees through third party channels not connected with the company
  • Protection of the company at all times in relation to database, IP, secrets and strategy, sensitive information which may not be discussed with anyone outside of the company
  • Ensure all sensitive client information remains confidential and ensure the culture is built across the department
  • Ensure unethical ways and means of the team are appropriately addressed and action is taken against such a behavior.
Pre-requisites (Qualifications)
  • Degree with specialization/biasness in marketing
  • 5 years experience in marketing, communication and project management
  • Proficient in English with ability to Read, Write and understand efficiently
  • Job Knowledge Requirement

  • Experience managing relationships with external PR and communication consulting firms, corporations, advertising partners & contractors;
