Reporting to: Company Secretary
Supervises: Security Coordinator

Broad Function: To undertake Security Monitoring Systems Audits, Reviews and Controls to ensure stringent security measures, policies, procedures, practices and systems, designed by the management are adequately applied so that business objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities
  • Providing a comprehensive security system to ensure maximum protection of Company property and vital installations.
  • Advising Management on matters relating to security and safety of the organization
  • Ensuring maximum security vigilance and co-ordinate patrols of all water and sewer installations operated by the Company
  • Deployment of adequate security to all the key areas of the Company
  • Fraud detection and investigations in liaison with external third parties
  • Developing and maintaining maximum discipline within the Security Team.
Person Specification
Academic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts (Criminology) Degree or Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences with Postgraduate Qualification in Security Management and at least 5 years relevant experience in Security Management acquired in the Industry.
  • Having served in the Kenyan Disciplined Forces will be an added advantage.
Professional Qualifications
  • Be in possession of a Certificate in Fraud investigations.
  • Certificate of Discharge (Read Book for members of the Armed Forces) with a minimum rating of “Very Good”
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Must be IT proficient and demonstrate ability to work under pressure
  • Must be of high Integrity
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent Analytical and Report writing skills
  • Well conversant with various Security Management Systems
  • Minimum age 35 years.
