Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager – Business Services, the incumbent will be responsible developing new business relationships and generating new income in the specified sector.
- Meeting and exceeding set revenue targets by developing relationships with targeted customers.
- Engaging with clients at a senior decision-making level to understand their business. needs, by leveraging our Solutions to meet the customer’s business needs and to grow relationships with a longer term focus.
- Creating and managing sales pipeline and achieving pipeline conversion to sales targets.
- Developing and managing new business sales plan at an individual level.
- Hands on lead generation from existing and new contacts.
- Preparing quotes and proposals in conjunction with Presales.
- Overseeing conversion of all clients sold to into billing clients.
- Developing and managing targeted marketing activities with our Marketing department
- Attend all training on existing or new services offered by the organization
- Know and adhere to all the setout sales processes and use the systems relevant to the processes
- Gather market intelligence and share with the team on a daily/weekly basis
- Tertiary education an advantage, but not a pre-requisite
- Computer literate with strong MS Office skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong customer relation skills
- Minimum 3 years working experience in sales within the ICT industry
- Proven Solution Selling or Consultative sales skills with high levels of documentation
- Proven over achievement of sales targets
- Excellent presentation skills
- Learn fast with regards to new systems and solutions
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills
- Build relationships internally and externally
- Work independently, using initiative
