Job Summary: The Creative Design Manager plays an essential role in marketing and communications department by leading the development of conventional marketing materials from concepts to completions. 


This entails the development of creative briefs and design concepts to meet Organization’s business objectives.
They are responsible for development of print collaterals, websites, and design graphics to support to social media campaigns and any other campaigns and related tasks.

He she will report to the Senior Manager for PR and Media Communications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development and production of conventional marketing communications materials, i.e., brochures, fact sheets, direct mail, newsletters, banners, stationery, business cards, promotional items, etc., including coordination with outside copywriters, graphic designers, printers, promotional item vendors, letter shops, etc.
  • Design visual graphics and layouts for corporate and affiliated websites to ensure brand consistency and communication of Organization’s objectives.
  • Working with other members of the Global Marketing team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to Organization’s standards.
  • Responsible for conceptualization of new artwork to be used in multiple forms of advertising media.
  • Design print advertising artwork as needed.
  • Review invoices for assigned projects; assign appropriate accounting code and obtain appropriate manager approval.
  • Assist various Organization’s country offices in ordering and coordinating shipment of print materials.
  • Preparing final and print-ready layout to meet vendor specifications and function as pre-press/production artist for print material.
  • Prepare attractive and accurate reports on an as-needed basis. As appropriate, may be involved in the presenting of information to small or large groups of Organization’s staff.
  • Is accountable for meeting deadlines or, otherwise, communicating with the stakeholders involved to change the expected deadline so as to ensure first-rate service and the highest client satisfaction.
  • Is expected to be willing to take on new challenges and specific project assignments in support of the Global Marketing Department and overall Organization’s vision and initiatives.
  • Work with internal teams to develop ideas for pitching and proposals
  • Ensure quality control over concepts and projects
  • Staying abreast of developments in graphic production, design software, production resources and recommendation of strategies and resources that would aid in providing higher quality marketing materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Attend weekly Global Marketing meetings and present designs created for the Organization’s advertising and print collateral.
  • Attends all other Global Marketing or interdepartmental meetings as required.
Qualifications; Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in a directly related field such as art or design, advertising and/or training in a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in graphic design , marketing , advertising  or editing
  • Ability to code using HTML5 and CSS3 preferred
  • Ability to multitask , manage multiple projects from concept through to completion
  • Computer/Software Skills and Abilities Ability to work in a Mac based environment; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and other industry-standard graphic design software.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures like discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; application of concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Must display strong attention to detail  Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time to Organization’s events if needed.
