Dalbit Petroleum HR Systems and Compliance Specialist Job in Kenya

Regional oil marketer, Dalbit Petroleum, is seeking to recruit a highly proactive and
self-driven individual to fill the position of HR Systems and Compliance Specialist
Reporting to the Group Services Delivery Manager, the HR Systems and Compliance Specialist will have his or her responsibilities as follows:
  • Leverage on HR data to identify areas where HR policies and procedures are not been applied consistently
  • Identify and report inconsistencies between policy and practice with the functional leader/owner of the policy
  • Identify stakeholders to develop and communicate policy and procedures across the Group
  • Search for and resolve data anomalies with a view toward processes that sustain data integrity
  • Develop timelines for policies to be in place and ensure appropriate steps are taken to meet deadlines
  • Create reports to monitor compliance and ensure accountability
  • Establish baseline metrics to measure success
  • Consult with areas outside of HR to determine legal and operational impacts
  • Provide guidance to regarding HR policy and process
  • Process and maintain periodic reports of employee record data, develop adhoc reports
  • Prepare, maintain and update employee data for the HR information system
  • Assist with the design and implementation of HR systems and processes
  • Collect and analyze critical program data for HR processes and programs, including creating reports and queries
  • Continuously seek ways to improve existing processes and programs through the use of technology
  • Work directly with the vendors as needed for troubleshooting and evaluation of new technology solutions
  • Support day-to-day end-user help requests
Person Specifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management
  • Diploma in HRM
  • At least 4 years working experience in HR Systems
  • Computer Literate
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent présentation skills
