Vacancy: Recruitment Lead – Nairobi

Due to expansion we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual for the above mentioned position.

Job Summary / Purpose: To select exceptional candidates that fit perfectly with the needs of our clients and provide ‘market leading’ recruitment solutions whilst continuously meeting target
 

Grow sector specific business with new clients in line with Janta Kenya’s aim to become market leader in the sector.


Key Responsibilities
 
 Candidate Management
  • Candidate control – keep in regular contact to review progress and performance
  • Pre-screen candidates before their interview for suitability and conduct interviews
  • Teach talent acquisition officers on interview skills / Skills testing
  • Spec CVs / Market candidates, Search / Shortlist CVs in line with job order request, Ensure CVs are of a specific standard and reflective of client requests
  • Provide information to candidates on clients and job specifications for permanent jobs
Client Management
  • Delivery of high quality candidates to the firm’s clients
  • Utilizing strategic sourcing and pipelining methodologies, business intelligence, internal and external networks, professional organizations, social media, branding initiatives, and technology tools in support of strategic business objectives.
  • The Recruitment Sourcing Specialist is focused on providing and managing the full spectrum of recruitment sourcing and services for the businesses that make up Client
  • Serve clients, identify their needs and provide feedback on success of filling jobs
  • Qualify job specification / salary information and record accurate and comprehensive job description – check info / client requirements in line with key processes and legislation
  • Gather info on client – decision maker and no of employees
  • Network internally and externally with clients
  • Benchmark for clients – salary, availability, candidate pool, industry activity
  • Write and Place advertisements on website and other means
  • Develop own knowledge to become an expert in Employment & Skills sectors
Other roles
  • General admin duties including; filing, work area management, reference checking etc
  • Ensure records are kept in line with legislative requirements
  • Carry out work instructions in line with Key Processes
  • Any other duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management / Business Admin
  • 3 Years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition research or related field
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated interpersonal skills, and the ability to work competently both individually and as a team member is required
  • Demonstrate ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and work with highly confidential information is preferred
  • Experience with social media recruiting methods, candidate pipelining, cold calling, and vendor management is preferred
