We are seeking to recruit Mechanical Technicians, Machine operators and Electrical Specialists to support our new factory.

1. Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Job Purpose: Responsible for the development, maintenance and breakdown repair activities in order
to ensure that all equipment in the factory process and packing areas are operating to the required standards in order to meet the demands of the business. 
Mechanical engineering, mechatronics, process control systems, thermo-dynamic processes, transport automation, process capability, and reliability all form the backbone of skills essential for this role.

Optimizing and improving the performance of all site based engineering equipment will be a core purpose of this role.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Identify and rectify faults on all equipment to include but not be limited to variability, repeatability, control processes, automation, motion, thermo-dynamic [product / process temperature management] and material wear.
  • Overhauling machine and gear components, maintaining conveyor and packaging equipment, and servicing automated machinery on production lines, identify and repair faults on equipment.
  • Works as a shift team member to keep machines running and also carry out preventative maintenance activities ensuring full documentation and feedback to the system.
Related Experience/Requirements:
  • Degree, or HND in mechanical engineering.
  • 5 years’ experience in maintenance in FMCG manufacturing environment or Mechanical/automotive workshop.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and equipment problem solving.
  • Knowledge in 5S.
2. Job Title: Electrical Specialist
Job Purpose: To carry out installations and repairs on electrical apparatus, systems and electronic features of industrial equipment and machines adhering strictly to electrical manuals, code, power tools, diagrams and other stipulations by utilizing hand tools, power tools, test and electrical equipment.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Do PLC diagnostics including online monitoring of input and output signals.
  • Setting up power supply; conduit and wiring for any installed equipment and machines, including programmable controllers, while adhering to blueprints, electrical ethics, utilizing voltage tester and hand tools.
  • Design and install simple control circuits.
Related Experience/Requirements:
  • Minimum HND or in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Degree.
  • Minimum 5yrs hands on experience in electrical maintenance systems and industrial set up with outstanding troubleshooting and technical aptitude.
  • Organized, self-disciplined, motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication ability.
  • Knowledge in 5S.
3. Job Title: Machine Operators
Job Purpose: Responsible for ensuring efficient, effective and safe operations performing basic maintenance of machines to meet safety, quality and production targets

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for adherence to safety practices and understanding of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and all safety incidences reporting.
  • Responsible for efficient operations of machines to meet production targets.
  • Carry out good manufacturing practices requirement related to production and machine maintenance.
Related Experience/Requirements:
  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Have at least two years’ experience in production in a Manufacturing plant.
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Be a team player.
  • Knowledge in 5S and basic Autonomous Maintenance (AM).
