Vacancy: Channel Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities
Development of plans to achieve set revenue targets through the Channel;
Proper management of Channel sales trackers and ensuring enough sales pipelines to achieve the revenue targets;
Identify strategic channels to assist achieve the set KPIs;
Perform detailed channel analyses including maintenance of logs of trends to help understand where a product can well fit;
Identify challenges and areas of opportunity to improve the channel performance from both a short term and long term revenue perspective and work with relevant teams to address;


Act as liaison with other departments and BUs to find ways to improve channel performance, from acquisition and retention perspective;
When there are changes made on a product, monitor the effects in the market of these changes and offer recommendations;
Proactively attend to channels and customer related issues and get an excellent customer rating;
Build long lasting business relations/partnership with assigned Channel partners;
Maintain 100% accuracy on reporting on information relevant to Channels and dissemination of the same to the partners managed;
Up to date profile of accounts within the Channel and up to date competitor intelligence. 
Minimum Requirements
  • A degree in Business Administration/Bachelor of Commerce from recognized university;
  • Must have 3 years’ experience in managing dealers or an indirect channel preferably in FMCG;
