HR Consulting Assistant
Job Summary
A HR Agency is looking for a HR Consulting Assistant to provide a comprehensive HR management advisory and consultancy service to clients. He/she is responsible for assisting with coordinating recruitment process, onboarding, training, communication of policies and managing of client’s administration and workforce.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all client company HR needs
- Manage the recruitment process from need identification to onboarding of candidates
- Come up with innovative ways to hire candidates
- Manage HR administration including keeping all paperwork including staff files
- Preparing HR Procedures, HR manual and staff handbooks
- Ensuring all staff have employment contracts and renewals, if any, are done on time
- Processing of leave applications for clients
- Carrying out research and developing training content
- Facilitating training sessions
- Carrying out research on trends that affect the work place in Kenya and globally
- Involved in Business Development including drafting of proposals and quotations

- Must understand business strategy
- Must be a creative problem solver, finding solutions to work related challenges
- Strong writing skills
- Strong project management, time management and leadership skills
- Solid problem-solving and business acumen skills
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in the course of work
- Strong level of influence and negotiation skills
- Excellent team work skills
- Should have excellent communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related fields from an accredited institution
- Higher Diploma in Human Resources
Required Experience
- At least three years’ experience in a busy HR department or HR Consulting Agency
