Sales Agronomist 
Role & Responsibilities
  • Reach out and respond to sales leads to further them in the purchasing process.
  • Reach out and respond to existing clients to support their experience.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust with existing and potential customers through open and interactive communication.
  • Use your expertise in agriculture to provide general agronomic information to existing and potential customers.
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information (product knowledge as well as agronomic advice) to various stakeholders by using the right methods and tools.
  • Maintain customer database by updating account information after every interaction.
  • Liaise with sales field staff team to clearly communicate sales and customer service priorities, opportunities and issues.
  • Report to management on progress and suggestions for improvement of sales and customer service process.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Degree in an agriculture-related field from a recognized university
  • 3-5 years experience in the agriculture sector in Kenya in a sales/customer service role, preferably providing agronomic advice on agricultural inputs sales
  • Demonstrated ability in data entry with experience in using Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Sales force
  • Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in Kiswahili and English
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizes, and manages time effectively.
  • An active listener with a deep interest in agricultural products
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
