Business Development Executive – Channel Distribution

Our client, an IT Company with branches within the East African region, India, Singapore and Dubai is seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive with business understanding of the retail sector to join their dedicated team;


Responsibilities
  • Responsible for revenue generation against a set sales target
  • Create and build business plans and strategies that lead to profitability
  • Liaising with other team members to create activities that aim at customer relations and retention
  • Determining the needs of the customer and showing them the range of products available
  • Provide accurate and timely business sales forecasts and reports.
  • Providing accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Any other task that may be assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry
  • Business development, commercial and technical orientation
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Solid understanding of market trends
  • Solid knowledge of the customer’s competitive landscape
  • Persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and creative writing skills
  • Experience in selling IT hardware products in supermarkets, banks and chemists
  • Degree in sales with a minimum work experience of 1-3years
