Business Development Executive – Channel Distribution
Our client, an IT Company with branches within the East African region, India, Singapore and Dubai is seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive with business understanding of the retail sector to join their dedicated team;
- Responsible for revenue generation against a set sales target
- Create and build business plans and strategies that lead to profitability
- Liaising with other team members to create activities that aim at customer relations and retention
- Determining the needs of the customer and showing them the range of products available
- Provide accurate and timely business sales forecasts and reports.
- Providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Any other task that may be assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry
- Business development, commercial and technical orientation
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Solid understanding of market trends
- Solid knowledge of the customer’s competitive landscape
- Persuasive and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal communication and creative writing skills
- Experience in selling IT hardware products in supermarkets, banks and chemists
- Degree in sales with a minimum work experience of 1-3years
