Sales Assistant

Job Purpose: Responsible for accurately handling customer quotations

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Filling customer quotations
  • Scanning quotations and monthly pricelists to customers
  • Handling/responding to sales calls and inquiries- both phone and online
  • Advising customers on available goods
  • Updating customers on price changes
  • Maintain up to date customer and clients’ contact database
  • Handling customer complaints and recording the same in the customer complain book
  • Provides direct administrative and office management support to the Head of Sales and Marketing
  • Filing
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Diploma in Business Management/Sales & Marketing/ CPA or any other related field
  • 2 years plus experience
  • Good Negotiation skills and Relationship Management skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Excellent ability to organize and communicate concepts both written and verbal.
  • Superb problem solving and Decision making skills
  • Meticulous eye for detail
  • Someone to uphold the ISO 22000:2005 standards
Key Performance Indicators
  • Filled quotations against conversion to customer orders
  • Sales Growth – Contribution to overall performance
  • Reduced Customer complaints
  • 100% accuracy in filling quotations and information on the system
  • Product Knowledge
