Leading Digital TV industry player StarTimes Media is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional who is suitably qualified to fill in the position of a Telesales Supervisor for its Contact Center.

Job Title: Telesales Supervisor

Department: Contact Center

Reports to: Contact Center Manager


Job Objective: Telesales Supervisor is a leadership role which will direct, monitor, coordinate, schedule and report all telesales activities for the telesales team, in support of all business areas within the scope of the contact center.  
As required, the Supervisor will be involved in recruiting, coaching, training and managing the telesales team.

The Telesales Supervisor will be responsible for driving continuous process improvements in the telesales, lead nurturing and lead entry process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop and support a team of telesales staff and implement day-to-day operations.
  • Deal with enquiries and complaints when referred on by Tele-Sales staff
  • Responsible for ensuring that the team meets service levels and other key performance indicator targets.
  • To monitor and track sales performance.
  • Responsible for producing and analyzing Tele-Sales and team performance reports.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales revenue targets
  • Provide feedback to Tele-Sales staff and guiding them on how they can increase revenue.
  • Conduct training and coaching to meet quality requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
  • First Degree in relevant area.
  • At least three years’ experience in a telesales environment within a busy call/contact center especially in a leadership role.
  • Resilient team player who leads from the front and promotes a professional sales environment at all times Target driven and sales oriented.
  • Mature, responsible and positive outlook to our business, protecting our brand through a professional approach.
  • Outgoing, articulate, numerate and positive personality.
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined to follow the daily structure.
  • Ability to rapidly establish a high degree of trust and rapport.
  • Set examples to team members in areas of personal character, commitment, organization, professionalism and work ethic.
  • First-rate communications skills; demonstrating confidence, adaptability, dependability and initiative.
  • Adapt well to a changing environment.
