Job Summary: The eCRM & eCommerce Manager is responsible for the roll out and coordination of consumer-driven CRM and eCommerce initiatives in the country. 

 

This position develops and supports CRM initiatives in Kenya – from enabling the methodologies for recruitment across brand activities to the engagement tactics from a cross-portfolio perspective – and in their eCommerce roadmap to develop relationships with current ecommerce vendors and at the same time assist in the development of our owned assets. 
Works together with the Digital Marketing Manager in the holistic implementation of the digital acceleration roadmap for the country.

Job Objectives:

eCRM and Content Marketing:

  • Works with local Brand and Digital Managers for the implementation of data capture across all activities and consumer engagement strategies, as well as correlated KPIs (Social Media, CRM, and online Media);
  • Supports development of engagement programs to target relevant consumer segments, ensuring consistency and focusing on both identifiable and anonymous data activations through targeted content;
  • Regular reporting to track consumer engagement KPIs for all data capture/CRM activations across brands.
  • Collaborates brand teams and consumer insights to transform brand business challenges into data-driven consumer activations (ex: Newsletter programs, Data-driven media buy, etc)
eCommerce
  • Coordinates the development of sales with our retail partners
  • Implements measurement of online sales share, strive to attain our fair share of business
  • Leverages our data-driven approaches to increase sales (partnership, media)
  • Develop consumer initiatives and share/implement best practices
Key Requirements:
  • Three (3) years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • High knowledge of digital media and data-driven marketing
  • Experience in a cutting-edge agency or a leading digital player
  • Experience in developing and executing consumer relationship programs (from design and development through execution and measurement), that integrate online & offline media and drive consumer engagement & sales
  • Experience with activation program analytics, targeting, segmentation, consumer and business insights
  • Experience in coordinating teams
  • Knowledge and understanding of the FMCG industry is nice to have
  • Highly analytical profile, able to understand multiple sources of data (consumer profiles, segmentation, anonymous and PII data, structured and unstructured, etc.)
  • Fluent in enabling technologies (data tagging, RFID, QR code, etc.), offline and online media
  • Basic knowledge of programmatic media buying and DMP principles
  • Forward thinking mind-set, willing to be part of a new ground-breaking marketing organization
  • Comfortable driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
  • Collaborative team player
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
