Team Leader Job in Kenya – Rwandese Restaurant, Baking & Catering Business

Our client, a well established Rwandese Restaurant, Baking & Catering Business is looking to recruit a Team Leader for its newly opened restaurant in Nairobi. 
The ideal candidate will demonstrate honesty and integrity, high level of discipline and cleanliness and very good people skills. 
The key responsibility is to support the restaurant manager in supervising the operations of the restaurant.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the delivery services during shifts.
  • Manage the cash in and out processes with the cashier during shifts.
  • Ensure outstanding cleanliness and tidiness of the restaurant.
  • Ensure high level standards of services are met at all time.
  • Supervise the waiters and sales team during shifts.
  • So the opening/closing operations in functions of your shift requirements.
  • Supervise the quality and freshness of products for sales.
  • Ensure that the food presentation matches the set standards.
  • Make sure that the staffs follow the set principles to create a joyous experience to the customers.
  • Maintain the ambience by controlling lighting, background music and monitoring quality of service.
  • Also maintain the state of linen service, glassware, dinnerware and utensil quality and placement.
Qualifications
  • Must have a diploma in food and beverage.
  • At least 2 years experience in a busy restaurant with high end service standards as a waiter.
  • Ability to supervise a team and coach them to deliver quality services on a daily basis.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Good communication skills and attention to details.
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong professional references.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 45,000/= (Approx. 450 USD)
