Vacancy: Head of Marketing

Our client is a real estate agent involved in property development, valuation and management.
They are looking to recruit a Head of Marketing to be responsible for all marketing activities of the company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include;


Project Marketing
  • Accumulate all project information necessary for marketing works.
  • Coordinate rendering works for project
  • Create marketing strategy, plan and budget
  • Coordinate all project related marketing material
  • Review project site marketing
  • Coordinate bespoke web design and provide domain registration and hosting to clients
  • Write all copy needed for marketing works
  • Coordinate all creative, production and media activities on marketing plan
  • Manage developer marketing finances and payments
  • Review sales progress on projects with sales team and adjust marketing plan accordingly
  • Review marketing response via the advert tracking forms and adjust marketing plan accordingly
  • Maintain contact with developers on project marketing at all times
  • Continually exploring new and creative marketing avenues
  • Manage social media activity for projects on a weekly basis
Individual Marketing
  • Take property pictures
  • Create property write ups and upload on to the bespoke database
  • Maintain brochure, poster displays and brochure booklets within the office
  • Control signboard allocations
  • Attend sales meeting weekly
  • Recommend and review marketing activities for this department
Corporate Marketing
  • Book venues and selling space to clients
  • Design of stand
  • Preparation of all merchandise needed for event
  • Supervising sales agents before, during and after event
  • Managing the exhibition account and finances, competitor analysis and photographing for campaign purposes
  • Providing feedback to client (developer) and sales manager
  • Update property news weekly
  • Review company‚Äôs Facebook and twitter accounts weekly
  • Review digital advertised banners weekly
  • Receive and review Google and web server analytics and make SEO suggestions monthly
  • Update website static pages quarterly
  • Continually review website functionality and make suggestions to keep it up to date
  • Create and send monthly newsletters from newsletter program
  • Oversee maintenance of all client data lists
  • Manage the production of all promotional material including all year end marketing materials including diaries, calendars, folders
  • Make creative suggestions for year including promotional material
The Property Index
  • Design quarterly index reports in conjunction with PR companies
  • Book press conference venues and make payments for the same
  • Supervise deployment of all materials for the quarterly event including: report print outs, name tags, pull up banners, business cards and give away bags
  • Maintain copies of all index coverage in the media on file
Public Relations
  • Maintain contact with PR consultant and provide guidance on new press releases
  • Once a press release has been commissioned, provide full support to PR consultant on all information needed
  • Maintain copies of all material published about the company in file
  • Receive and review monthly report from PR consultant
Market Watch
  • Identify new potential markets and develop strategies to communicate with them
  • Monitor and analyse market trends both locally and globally to facilitate benchmarking
  • Study competitors’ products and services
  • Maintain a clearly labeled and archived filing system on the marketing and design hard drives making it easily navigable by another user
  • Maintain an efficient filing system of all marketing paper work including but not limited to orders, artworks and advert tracking forms
Provide a monthly report to be reviewed by company directors including:
  • Leads and sales generated for all marketing campaigns & recommendations for the future activities
  • New and creative avenues of reaching target audiences
  • Audit of corporate advertising and creative marketing tools for raising brand awareness
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in client service with specialisation in account strategy and planning
  • Superb organisational skills and methodical
  • Good knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle pressure and can work well in a team with different cultures
  • Think creatively, be proactive and able to take initiative
  • Be persuasive and diplomatic
  • Must have good business awareness
  • Be able to work within a budget and within strict timelines
  • Very good understanding of online media
  • Experience in the property industry will be an added advantage
