Sales Unit Manager (Telecom Value Added Services) Job in Kenya

Sales Unit Manager

by a progressive company providing a spectrum of Value Added Services
and Solutions In the Telecom infrastructure among them Bulk SMS, Short
Code, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), SMS Advertising and
Communication Solutions, MPESA integration  among others

Primary Responsibility: Sales
and marketing of Safaricom enterprise products such as Internet,
bandwidth, installations, and gadget among others to Corporates, SMEs
and homes among others


Key Responsibilities
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies
  • Prepare and execute sales and marketing plan
  • Recruit, train, supervise and motivate sales executive
  • Set targets and monitor performance of the sales team
  • Enhance and maintain good client relations
  • Collect, analyze and use market intelligence sales related decision making
  • Prepare and submit reports on various aspects of the Sales and Marketing unit
  • Diploma
    in Sales and Marketing from a recognized training institution, at least
    2 years’ experience in sales management and proven track record of
  • Good planner, organizer, team player, communicator, good negotiator and must demonstrate ability lead a sales team
Remuneration: Remuneration
package for this position includes:  Salary/Retainer, commissions on
personal sales and override commission on commissions paid to the Sales
