Job Profile: Networking
Designation: Senior Presales Consultant – Collaboration
Role Objective: The Role Holder will be responsible for growth and development of Collaboration business.
He/she will develop opportunities for Collaboration products across the CCL Business Units with a bias to cisco collaboration and other Networking solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and execute an innovative business plan to deliver on collaboration priorities in the market
- Responsible for pre-sales support for collaboration solutions portfolio and associated infrastructure required
- Understand, articulate and position Cisco’s end-to-end Collaboration architecture
- Engage with customers early in the sales cycle and throughout the sales process to understand their business needs and solution objectives
- In conjunction with the sales team, formulate a product / system proposal delivering more value to customers at better margins through optimally defined solutions
- Support the sales team and delivery team in delivering projects at the customer locations
- Scope software/ hardware requirements and desired outcomes, and work with relevant teams to deliver the required solution
- Support sales team with product information, RFP’s, and updates in-line with launch
- Provide Technical Support expertise to sales exhibitions and events, in-conjunction with the sales team
- Manage proof of concept testing based on customer requirements, to demonstrate feasibility of a solution prior to a project rollout either on site or at the client’s offices
- Provide support to regional teams and Supply Chain as and when needed
Leadership & Relationship Roles:
- Closely liaises with the sales and Service Delivery teams to ensure the realization of both short-term and long-term organization goals
- Maintain close contact with both internal and external customers to enhance good customer experience and service delivery
- Mentor Presales Engineers / Consultants to take up a senior role in their area of expertise
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum Cisco Certified Networking Professional certification
- 4-5 years’ experience in a technical role
- Sound Knowledge of Collaboration and Video
Soft Skills:
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; both verbal and written
- In-depth knowledge of customer service principles and practices with a passion for excellence
- Excellent planning & organizing skills
- Sales acumen
- Fluent in local language and English, both written and spoken
