Bar and Restaurant Manager
We are looking for an ideal candidate with strong ethic to act as a new small bar and restaurant manager that has the capacity of 50 people located along Thika Road
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct and oversee all bar and restaurant operations
  • monitor and order stocks and supplies in both the bar and restaurant and ensure adherence to stock control procedure and proper cash management
  • Plan and implement systems to maximize sales and revenue
  • Generate and present financial reports
  • Maintain regular communication with staff and management through meetings and discussions assess development needs and train and coach staff
  • Set objectives and targets for the staff operate within company policies
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly
  • Promote and practice compliance with fire, health, safety and hygiene standards and regulations
  • The Management of all stock levels within the Department in line with Departmental Budgets
  • Bachelor’s Degree or advanced diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management
  • 3 years’ experience in the management of a bar or beverage service operation
  • Knowledge of business management principles and practices
  • Basic knowledge in accounting procedures, control procedures, human resource management practices and the use of relevant computer applications
  • Demonstrate understanding of administrative procedures with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent food knowledge and awareness of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and beverages
  • Good presentation skills and etiquette with confident and determined approach
