The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) wishes to recruit a qualified professional for the vacant position as outlined below:

Chief Curriculum Development Officer (Computer Studies or ICT)

One (1) Post

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail the following:

  • Undertake the development of relevant and quality curriculum and curriculum support materials;
  • Initiate and participate in orientation;
  • Coordinate activities of subject and course panels; and
  • Coordinate development and evaluation of curriculum support materials.

Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade an applicant must have:

(i) Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in curriculum studies or related field and relevant working experience of at least three (3) years at a supervisory level.

(ii) Have demonstrated professional competence in curriculum development or related areas and a team player.
