The Exciting Career Opportunity
The Real People Kenya Limited is looking to hire an ambitious and high integrity individual as Branch Manager within the Business Finance Department.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Branch Manager will manage the profitability and operational efficiency of a branch operation by achieving and exceeding production targets on a regular basis also manage the client and production portfolio of a branch to ensure quality business with collections rates achieving or exceeding targets set.
1. Team Leadership
a) Forge and maintain strong and sound working relationships among team members;
b) Build a high performing and engaged team; retaining and developing competent staff;
c) Build and maintain total accountability and continuous improvement;
d) Actively identifying training needs of the team;
e) Actively training staff and conducting on-job coaching of the team;
f) Lead the performance management processes and manage unsatisfactory performance levels of the team;
g) Manage discipline and potential conflict in the team through open and fare communication and engagement.
h) Efficiently and fairly manage time and attendance and leave utility of the team.
i) Adhere to all HR Policies within the team;
2. Customer Service and Relationship Management
a) Deliver excellent customer service consistently in line with Real People requirements;
b) Monitor customer service levels with clients and ensure the team follow through on deliveries;
c) Follow up on complaints, ensure resolution is attained and act as the contact person for all unresolved client issues in the team;
d) Responsible for overseeing Senior Relationship Officer’s client induction and ensuring all loan agreements get signed at the branch.
a) Ensure the attainment of targeted early collections rates;
b) Oversee the early collections process through Senior Relationship Officers and / or Relationship Officers;
c) Monitor collections rates and the performance of the Collections Officers at the branch;
d) Manage the branch Portfolio at Risk (PAR) to ensure it remains below the minimum standard, in consultation with the Senior Relationship Officers and / or Relationship Officers in the branch;
e) Oversee the timeouts handover of defaulters to the Collections Officers.
