Key Responsibilities
- Supervise VSAT and Broadcast Hub Operation
- Periodic preventive maintenance for Hub equipment
- Managing and running all Hub systems and Network installed in teleport for smooth operation
- Participate in solution testing, Demos
- Provide level 2 support to customers
- Installation and commissioning of special projects.
- Configuration and management of Broadcast Hub and other system equipment
- Scheduled system backups
- Adhere to process and procedures
- Daily call analysis from ERP and take proactive and reactive actions
- Monthly system analysis and review. Share the finding with Regional and Technical manager for further planning and action.
- Make recommendations as required and suggest and support alternative approaches.
- Timely identification and rectification of application/network related faults with reports and proactive updates to customer and Reporting Manager
- Lead, offer guidance and manage team activities to achieve desired goals.
- Cultivate and maintain client/customer relationships involving decision making and problem solving.
- Plan, implement and maintain all related media and broadcast infrastructure.
- VSAT and Broadcast NOC management for monitoring and management of services.
- Managing 24×7 Support and SLA to customers.
- Assist to conduct successful POC and Demos.
- Daily call analysis from ERP and take proactive and reactive actions
- Carry out any other duties assigned by management as and when required
- Weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
- Undertaking Yellow belt and Six Sigma projects which Implementing innovative ideas and best practices
- Liaison and co-ordinate with all internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Implementation of new ideas
- High process compliance scores and taking corrective actions to correct all non-conformances.

What minimum, education, skills and experience are necessary for effective performance in this position?
Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electronics and communication
Skills: SCPC support, Media and Broadcast operation, Basic IP Networks, Basic Systems Integration, Strong Customer Relations & Proper Phone & Email Etiquette.
Experience
- VSAT product knowledge, SCPC, Basic IP & System integration

- Media uplink products like Scopus, Harmonic, DSNG installation
- At least 5 to 8 years’ experience in VSAT, Networking and media and broadcast industry with extensive experience.
