FSD Africa Capital Markets Development Specialist Vacancy in Kenya

Vacancy: Capital Markets Development Specialist

FSD Africa (FSDA) is a regional financial sector development programme operating across sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).

Funded by the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID), FSDA’s goal is to increase prosperity, create jobs and reduce poverty by bringing about a transformation in the financial markets in SSA and in the economies in which they serve.

The Role

As a key member of the team, the appointee will support the implementation of capital market initiatives across SSA, contribute to the implementation of strategies for enhancing capital markets — bond markets, alternative finance markets, professional investor base development, knowledge management — and may help oversee the building of services in one or more of these markets.

The appointee will ideally be a private sector professional, motivated by a passionate interest in the role that financial markets can play in reducing poverty.
