Job Title: Cook
Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a chef/cook. Experience must be proved.
Knowing well international recipes, especially European.
Experience in food costing
Capacity to keep record of rations/amounts of food spent.
Comfortably able to host people of all nationalities and religions.
Languages: Excellent English and Swahili
Other skills required
Ability to keep track and records over food used and recording inventory of crockery items.
- Designing menus for the clients in accordance to the needs and cooking for the clients and for the staff
- Keeping good maintenance over crockery items and recording in the inventory
- Keeping hygiene standards high, cleaning crockery items
- Keeping records over the food stock/rations
- Helping other departments when required by superiors
- Serving to clients whenever required
Start date: March/April 2016
Location: Maasai Mara
