Niko digi Services Limited – Job Descriptions

Niko Digi is a startup registered in Kenya to provide Saccos with a digital core-banking system for their day to day operations and record keeping.

We are targeting micro / Bosa Saccos in the country, this are saccos in the transport, retail and communities sharing a common bond.

We have over 19,000 such saccos in the country. Niko Digi will also offer other services and products to clients who are using our digital platform such as insurance, spare parts, cash collection gadgets, Sacco IDS, reflectors etc.

Field Agents


  • Collecting Data on Bodaboda operators-
  • Identifying locations and officials of micro Saccos and liaising with our marketing teams
  • Marketing the nikodigi platform to Bosa Saccos
  • Marketing Nikodigi Products to clients (Insurance, ID, Refractors)
  • Organizing Training activities in liaison with business development team


  • Knowledge of Sacco Operations
  • Some insurance knowledge
  • Fast learner
  • Great communication skills
  • 0-2 years’ experience

Marketing Executive


  • Marketing the NIKODIGI platform to BOSA Saccos
  • Following up on any client leads established
  • Establishing relationships with potential nikodigi partners
  • Organizing Training activities in liaison with business development team
  • Developing and implementing marketing campaigns and strategies of Nikodigi
  • Monitoring our various marketing strategies and issuing reports on the same


  • Good communication skills
  • Social media knowledge
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Experience in marketing
  • 1-3 years’ Experience

Business Development Officer


  • Training existing sacco members on benefits of saccos and our platform
  • Growing the use of our platform in the saccos
  • Meeting with sacco officials of potential an existing clients
  • Crafting marketing messages to be sent via Nikodigi platform
  • Handling any major issues our Client saccos may have
  • Maintaining good relationships with our existing clients
  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Developing quotes and proposals about the company products
  • Ensuring set sales goals are met.


  • Knowledge of Insurance operations
  • Knowledge of Sacco operations
  • Experience in handling insurance banking or sacco business
  • Knowledge of financial services
  • 2-5 Years Experience

Call Center / Customer Care


  • Handling/Resolving any self-service issues that sacco members may have
  • Data entry and update of customer information
  • Monitor and process any Product orders via the platform
  • Calling all insurance clients reminding them of insurance expiry and renewal and our insurance services
  • Telemarketing – calling potential sacco officials and telling them about our platform
  • Responding to Customer emails, SMS, and social media engagements
  • Document all calls and service center activities
  • Identifying and escalating any priority Issues


  • Knowledge of Sacco Operations
  • Knowledge of Insurance Business
  • Call center experience
  • 1-2 years’ Experience.
