Regional Facilities Lead

Job Objective/Purpose of Job:

Responsible for ensuring buildings and their services meet the required regulatory & corporate standards and needs of the people that use them

Grade Level: P4-M1

Location: Nairobi

Reports To: Head Facilities

Supervises: Facility and HSE Associate

Other Relationships

(Internal & External)
Affiliates & Strategic Partnerships, HR & Admin, Business Performance, Contractors & Vendors

Key Accountabilities

Facility & Stakeholder Management


  • Mange performance and outcomes of reporting staff and vendors
  • Assure prompt and courteous service to facility occupants and visitors in a safe, pleasant and comfortable environment on a proactive basis, while maintaining budgetary and corporate standards
  • Oversee the adequate performance of the outsource facilities services provider
  • Provide oversight for the procurement of some materials and supplies that may be required for daily operation and maintenance of the facility
  • Assist in crisis management
  • Ensure finalization of projects within timeline, budget & quality targets
  • Report project activities
  • Manage refurbishment, renovations and office moves
  • Manage general upkeep and maintenance making sure that the building meets health and safety standards and legal requirements
  • Manage services such as cleaning, waste disposal, catering and parking, security
  • Manage budget and keep records of payments
  • Participate in negotiation of deals with vendors

  • Counsel and advise team members daily and as required on ways to improve their performance

Learning & Growth

  • Knowledge Management
  • Education/ Professional¬† Qualification:
  • First degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or any related discipline from a reputable university


  • Minimum of 5 years experience in facility/project management or related fields
