Hotel Sales Executive Job in Mombasa, Kenya

Our client; a Hotel in Mombasa seeks to recruit the services of an experienced Sales Executive to be based in North Coast Mombasa.

Role Profile

  • The successful candidate will lead the sales and marketing functions of the hotel by:
  • Acting as the contact between the hotel and its existing and potential customers;
  • Processing enquiries by phone, email and customer visits in relation to the hotel business;
  • In liaison with General Manager and finance team, negotiates the terms of an agreement and closes sales;
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations as required;
  • Ensuring that all complaints by customers are addressed immediately and settled;
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers in person, via telephone calls and emails;
  • Reviewing sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
  • Providing feedback from customers to enhance service delivery;
  • Remains current on room rates and room availability;
  • Producing weekly sales pipelines and forecasts;
  • Representing the hotel at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
  • Developing ideas for marketing the hotel and its facilities to meet and exceed targets.
