Consultancy: Request for Proposals to Conduct Staff Audit Job Evaluation and Analysis
KANCO is a regional membership network of NGOs, CBOs, FBOs, Private Sector actors, Research and Learning Institutions as well as associate membership that includes individuals and International Non-Governmental Organizations involved in or that have interest in HIV& AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB) and other public health care concerns.
Established in 1990, KANCO has over 1200 members, with implementing partners in Burundi, Seychelles, Mauritius, Uganda, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
KANCO is also in partnership with different regional and global advocacy networks such as ACTION and RESULTS.
Further to this, in 2009, KANCO was accredited as the linking organization of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, a global network that supports communities around the world to reduce the spread of HIV and meet the challenges of AIDS and related health issues.
Guided by the vision of healthy people, empowered communities, over time KANCO has evolved to become a premier agency for sensitizing, mobilizing and promoting collaboration among civil society organizations (CSOs) working in the region.
KANCO recently launched a new strategic plan 2016 –2020 for the next five years and therefore is need to conduct staff job analysis and evaluation to enable KANCO align its human capital to the strategic objectives of the organization and attain internal efficiency, equity and relative job value.
The focus of the overall job evaluation exercise will be enable KANCO align its human capital to the strategic objectives of the organization and attain internal efficiency, equity and relative job value.
This will entail:
a) Reviewing the organizational structure to match the strategic plan
b) Refining job descriptions
c) Conducting a job evaluation
d) Reviewing the job grading; and salary structure and recommending an equitable and competitive pay structure
e) Creating a skills and competency matrix
f) Develop a performance appraisal scheme
