Education Development Trust has a strong commitment to Sub Sahara n Africa and has been working in Somalia, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Kenya in particular.

Education Development Trust in partnership with Concern Worldwide, AMURT, PGI, Kesho Kenya and the Ministry of Education Science & Technology is implementing a DFID funded five-year project.

Our ambitious vision for our GEC Transition (GEC-T) project Wasichana Wetu Wafaulu (“Let Our Girls Succeed”) is that it will enable each of our 72,000 beneficiaries achieve improved learning outcomes and transition successfully to a productive and positive next phase.

Through this project our beneficiaries will gain the skills, qualifications and confidence required to take control of their lives.

These learning outcomes will be achieved in over 521 primary schools, school communities and 45 secondary schools in eight counties in the Arid and Semi-Arid Lands of Turkana, Samburu, Marsabit, Kwale, Kilifi and Tana River and urban slums of Nairobi and Mombasa in Kenya.

Education Development Trust wishes to invite proposals for the services of a firm or individuals to develop an online database that will support the tracking of the project’s 72,000 beneficiaries in the 566 schools and communities spready in the 8 counties as well as data visualization and reports generation capabilities for the achievements of the

The database should be accessible offline through an application that can be installed in an Android platform that enables data to be fed online and offline while providing geofencing capabilities at the point of data capture.

Suppliers must quote Ref EdDevTrust/GECT-WWW/006/2017 in their applications.

Bids must be submitted to Education Development Trust, to be received not later than Monday 20th November 2017 at 5:00pm.

Bids will be opened on Tuesday 21st November 2017 at 10.00am.
