Job Description: Strategic Business Unit Coordinator (SBU-C)

Rich Kids International (RKI) is an organization working in Kenya and the East African region with offices in Westlands Nairobi- Kenya.

The key focus of the organization is working with Kids and parents in improving their financial wellbeing, shaping their future daily in small steps. The target Kid age groups are 0-15yrs.

An SBU coordinator is answerable to the region’s program manager. S/He leads a team of relationship consultants (RC’s) who handle various activities as assigned to them.

The SBU-C shall be responsible for overseeing the activities at the kids clubs being managed by RC’s. He is expected to be team leader of excellent reputation, young and aggressive with unmatched passion for excellence in their management tasks.

Interested persons to works as SBU-coordinators shall be tasked with the following;

  • PARTNERSHIP STRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT- developing a clear and streamlined partnership infrastructure with the key players and partners
  • TEAM BUILDING, LEADERSHIP & SUPERVISORY ROLE – building, Supervision and managing a team of RC’s to perform prescribed tasks in your business unit, leading them to achieve their expected outcomes.
  • FINANCIAL TARGETS- mobilizing your team to meet the financial targets as set by your supervisor
  • TRAINING FACILITATION TO YOUR TEAM- you shall be expected to ensure that your team is sufficiently trained and well equipped to meet the expected threshold in carrying out their mandate as RC’s.
  • PLANNING AND COORDINATION OF MEETINGS- you shall be expected to plan and coordinate the meetings in conjunction with RCs, supporting them in their tasks.
  • REGULAR REPORTS- Whereas the program does not limit you to come to office on daily basis, you must prove to your supervisor that you are working by showing the results in the regular reports that you send to your senior on regular basis.

Other tasks expected of you are as follows;

  • 1-2 Yrs EXPERIENCE IN SALES- this is necessary but not a must.
  • INTEREST IN WORKING WITH KIDS- You should be interested in working with Kids
  • YOUR AGE- You should be preferably between 23- 30yrs of age

The SBU-C shall be highly proactive, have high ambition to attain results, excellent communicator, wonderful presentation skills and unmatched organization skills. You will be expected to grow and lead a team of up to 50 RC’s

REMUNERATION- The right candidate will be contracted on a twin pay plan, a modest basic and performance based remuneration.
