Danish Refugee Council Armed Violence Reduction Manager Job in Kenya

The Danish Refugee Council is an international non-governmental organization that promotes and supports durable solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced people all over the world.

Danish Demining Group (DDG) is part of the Danish Refugee Council (NRC). DDG is an operational unit specialised in the prevention and reduction of armed violence.

DDG has armed violence reduction programmes in many other countries in the region including Somaliland, Somalia, Yemen, South Sudan and Uganda. DDG’s programme in Kenya started in July 2012 and focuses on community safety, cross-border conflict management, promotion of conflict sensitivity and improving community-security provider collaboration.

The DDG Kenya Program is seeking a qualified candidate for the following position:

Armed Violence Reduction Manager

Qualified candidates are invited to submit their applications which should include a 1-page cover letter clearly stating their motivation and qualifications and a CV.

Applications should include contact details of three professional referees who have supervised the candidate in the last five years.

One referee must be the applicant’s most recent manager.
