Orthopedic Hospital Marketing and Business Development Officer Job in Kenya

We are an Orthopedic Hospital with a very strong inclination towards the Ministry and winning souls for the kingdom of God.

We are looking for a Marketing and Business Development Officer.

Essential Duties:

  • Ensure all hospital’s operations are a high quality and continuous enhancement of quality in all activities to ensure the AIC CURE Kenya meets and surpasses the patients’ needs. This is the key foundation of enhancing the hospital’s brand.
  • Plan, design, develop and implement customer experience support processes and ensure appropriate, timely and quality resolution of customer queries.
  • Drive the CURE brand within and without the organization.
  • Continuous improvement on the integration of Christian values when undertaking all hospital activities as customers have identified this as key strength of the Hospital.
  • Participate in the BD&M strategy development for the hospital with a view on positioning the hospital competitiveness in the market.
  • Manage strategic relationships in regard to marketing, cultivate new alliances, and monitor competitive activity.
  • Identify foundations/corporate social responsibility programs working in Kenya and develop a strategy on working with them to support the hospital activities.
  • Work together with the Mobile Clinic Coordinator to ensure the implementation of the mobile clinics programs to make it a gateway for private patients in addition for it bringing in the general patients
  • Organizing publicity events and other events within the hospital, local community partnership events and collaborating with relevant government agencies in arranging community awareness campaigns.
  • Lobbying the community leaders, churches, county and central government (and its agencies) and the political class in assisting the hospital with resources.
  • Collaborate with the HRM to ensure that corporate and organizational culture and are maintained within and in the hospital.

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration- Marketing Option or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years progressive experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.  Previous supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
  • Computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
