Tours and Travel Business Development Executive Job in Nairobi, Kenya

Our Client in the Tours and Travel industry is urgently seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their dedicated team in Nairobi.

Salary: Gross KShs 20k – 25k + commissions.


  • Assist in acquiring new customers and selling additional products to our existing ones.
  • B2C Sales.
  • Generating sales leads for new clients
  • Presenting products/services to existing and potential clients
  • Product development for each customer group and also in line with the seasons
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Creating and operating a loyalty award program
  • Being the liaison person between the company and supplier to negotiate for better terms/good deals
  • Coordinating correspondences from our social media platforms

N/B Experience in tours and travel is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Business management.
  • 2 years’ experience in Sales especially in a multinational organization.
  • Stamina, resilience and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Articulate and confident presentation skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Time-management skills and the ability to priorities your workload.
  • Positive attitude able to work to deadlines and targets, displaying a proven track record in a sales environment.
  • Good communication and public relations skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Must be pleasant and passionate about work
  • Self-motivated
