NGEC Personal Aide to Commissioner Job in Kenya

The National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC) is an independent government body entrenched in Article 59(1) of the constitution of Kenya (2010) and subsequently established under an act of parliament, National Gender and Equality Act of 2011.

The Commission’s core mandate is to promote gender equality and freedom from discrimination in accordance with Article 27 of the Constitution.

The Commission seeks to a recruit self-motivated, dynamic and results oriented person to fill the following vacancy:

Personal Aide to Commissioner

Terms of Service: Tied to the Commissioner’s contract

Other Benefits: Medical Cover, First Assurance and WIBA

1 Position

For appointment to this grade as

i. Applicant must possess a certificate in debrailing from a recognized institution.

ii. A minimum experience of three (3) years in a similar post

iii. Strong verbal and written communication

iv. Strong initiative and ability to work independently

v. Excellent organizational skill; and

vi. Computer literate

Duties and Responsibilities

The PA’S will be responsible to the respective Commissioner.

Duties and responsibilities include:

i. To assist the Commissioner at all times

ii. To ensure that the Commissioner’s working tools are kept well

iii. To undertake all assignments as may be directed by the Commissioner and;

iv. To carry out any other duties that may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the Commissioner.
