RTI is Recruiting Candidates for USAID- funded Beyond- the-Grid Program

RTI International, and its implementing partner, are requesting applications for technical and operational roles on USAID-funded Power Africa Beyond-the-Grid Program. This program will provide services to accelerate off-grid electricity across sub-Saharan Africa to support Power Africa’s goals to double electricity access by 2030. This is a 4 year project. Positions will be based in Pretoria, South Africa.

Human Resources Specialist: The HR Specialist is responsible for transparent implementation of HR Strategies, effective delivery of HR services and management; interprets and applies HR policies; rules and regulations facilitate internal procedures and process solutions to a wide spectrum of complex HR issues.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or Public Administration and 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in HR and administrative management of programs, including experience working on USAID-funded projects strongly preferred.

Grants Manager: Lead all aspects of the grants management process including pre-award and post-award under the direction of the Deputy Chief of Party and Chief of Party and in collaboration with relevant BTG staff.

Qualifications: Extensive experience managing large, multi-year grants programs, preferably USAID-funded involving domestic and international organizations. Master’s degree and 10 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

IT Officer: Manages the use and maintenance of information and communications technology (ICT) required for day to day operational support. Sets up, maintains, and supports the ICT infrastructure and equipment for HEPP offices.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting and troubleshooting a wide range of ICT infrastructure hardware and software such as computers, servers, printers, scanners, backup devices and networks as well as the associated applications software for a 20+ person office.

Finance Manager will oversee program financial management and reporting functions to ensure compliance with the terms of the agreement and coordinates, trains, and builds the capacity of the financial / administrative staff in the project.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field and at least 9 years of experience in financial and administrative management of programs in Africa. Experience working on USAID funded projects preferred.

Office Manager: Manage administrative operations and activities in offices including office management, respond to office inquiries, implementation of procedures and policies and a wide range of support for the project office.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience supporting a large office staff for a USAID-funded project.
