Vacant Position: Recruitment & Selection Officer

Our client, a market leader in Hospitality Industry is urgently looking to hire a talented and dynamic Recruitment & Selection Officer. You will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle and will work closely with your business departments, advising best practices and providing them with daily support in all their recruitment needs by performing the following duties;

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with line managers, suppliers, wider HR community, and your team members to create a partnership that delivers success and credibility
  • Assist in implementing the recruitment plan for the assigned Departments as per the Recruitment strategy in order to ensure timely recruitment of all budgeted / replacement positions.
  • Drive the end-to-end recruitment process and ensure both speed and quality of hires
  • Leverage all recruiting channels, including internal career site, both traditional and alternative sources to identify and recruit the very best candidates
  • Interview internal and external candidates, using face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies as per the HR policy manuals
  • Prepare job offers for selected candidates and call them up for offer reviewing and confirmation
  • Actively participate in our client’s CPI (continuous process improvement) programmes by revising process effectiveness and efficiencies, recommending changes
  • Manage stakeholders in an effective way, work towards the highest level stakeholder satisfaction
  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
  • Take responsibility for own project initiatives
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Recruitment Function

This position is for you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or any other relevant discipline from a recognized institution
  • Higher Diploma in HRM will be treated as an added advantage
  • Member, Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
  • Proven 3+ years end-to-end recruitment experience, as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
  • Experience in handling successful mass recruitment with very short timelines
  • Ability to efficiently handle work pressure
  • Experience in Employer Branding
  • Passion to continuously develop yourself and your processes
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Familiarity with assessment and selection recruitment methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
