Insurance Company Branch Manager Job in Mombasa, Kenya

               

A well-established Insurance company, wishes to recruit a competent individual to fill the position of Branch Manager – Mombasa.

The Branch Manager will provide leadership to ensure that:

  • Branch operations are efficient and aligned to cooperate strategic objectives
  • Premium targets (new & renewal business) are achieved.
  • Renewal retention targets are achieved.
  • Profitability targets are achieved through prudent underwriting and implementation of strategies to minimize loss ratios.
  • The team at the Branch is motivated, offered necessary supervision and guidance.
  • Customer service standards are within the expected standards
  • Credit policy is implement to ensure premiums are paid as provided.
  • Underwriting guidelines are strictly adhered to and relevant documentation safely maintained.

Requirements;

  • Degree in business related area from a recognized University and Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance.
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience at a similar position in an Insurance company.
  • Knowledge on workings of the Kenyan insurance market and the insurance regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, planning, organizing, entrepreneurial and commercial thinking skills.
