Administrative Manager

This position ¡s an Administrative Professional, full time position that is responsible for the overall administrative coordination of Washington State University Global Health Kenya, Non-Government Organization (NGO) in Nairobi, Kenya.

It serves as the primary financial and personnel officer for the NGO and will operate with a broad level of independent judgment and decision making authority. This position will report directly to the
Paul G. Allen School for Global Animal Health Director of Finance and Administration based in Pullman, Washington, USA.

This person will manage the administrative functions of the NGO personnel, procurement and contracts and finance units.

Responsibilities include assisting the Director of Finance and Administration in the development of long- and short-term strategic plans for the NGO, leading and managing administrative activities associated with the Kenya NGO office, and ensuring operations are aligned with WSU policies and procedures as well as in compliance with Kenyan law.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree with (4) year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified which has included at least (3) year of supervisor experience.

Must be able to obtain work authorization in Kenya and travel internationally for work related needs.
