Job Summary: Reporting to the Chief Scientist / Officer, Environmental Conservation, the job holder will be responsible for implementing company’s corporate conservation activities within its various operation areas, restoration, this will also include restoration catchment ecosystems without duplication of efforts, monitoring and evaluating the impacts of company conservation programs and advise on areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences or Natural Resource Management or Environmental Conservation related field (Biological Sciences in Forestry, Wildlife Management or related courses) from a recognised institution.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and membership to environmental conservation related recognised association such as Environment Institute of Kenya and NEMA practicing license is mandatory.
  • Postgraduate MSc degree in either Environmental Sciences and / or Natural Resource Management will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of five (5) years working experience as an officer in Environmental / Natural resource Conservation and Management at a position of Environmental Scientist / Officer.

Additional Requirements

Candidates shortlisted for the interview for Manager and Chief Officer positions will be required to submit the following;

  1. Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal investigations
  2. Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
  3. Tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
  4. Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
  5. Report from an Approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
