Position: Trade Developer

Location: Mombasa

Nature of Job: Full Time

Salary: 20K – 25K

Key Roles

  • General and Modern Trade management, stock availability, collections, account opening, product listing, stock rotation and region development
  • Increasing the product market share by facilitating visibility and availability of product portfolio; generate and facilitate orders for overall sales revenue growth
  • Planning and delivering monthly, weekly and daily sales targets
  • Coordinating collection of sales proceeds within the approved terms of trade
  • Managing route plans and customer calls by ensuring market coverage within plan
  • Identifying opportunities and negotiating for incremental business
  • Coordinating implementation of merchandising and promotional activities
  • Delivering customer service and ensuring that customer claims are settled in the shortest time possible

Education Experience and Skills

  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or any other relevant field
  • Customer Service/ Public Relations Certificate
  • Knowledge of Organic Health Foods will be an added advantage
  • At least 2 years comparable experience in the FMCG industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • High customer orientation
