Job Title: Field Sales Executive

Line Manager: Head of Sales

Company Description: The Client is a Nairobi-based waste collection and resource recycling company with a mission to provide affordable and environmentally friendly waste management services to all income areas.

Role Purpose

  • To generate new business for commercial and residential waste contracts by way of prospecting and networking
  • Grow the territory as defined
  • Deliver and demonstrate our Company values

Key Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively and reactively selling profitable new business within a territory to meet set targets
  • To achieve and exceed monthly/annual targets
  • Processing of sales enquiries including site visits
  • Manage a territory and prospect for potential opportunities
  • Quoting for jobs; paying attention to all commercial requirements to make a profit
  • Reporting prospects, meetings, quote and contract activity into the Company Sales Tracker system
  • Produce monthly sales reports on personal performance for the Field Sales Manager

The Candidate Profile:

  • Intermediate IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Diploma or Bachelors in Sales and marketing
  • Age between 25 – 35 years
  • 3 years and above working experience in sales
  • Negotiation and presentation skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Good at information seeking and handling
  • Able to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills
