Job Opening: Japanese Sushi / Sashimi Chef

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Naivasha

Job Responsibilities:

 Create high quality sushi including cooking rice, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting and packaging for take-out and dine-in plate preparation

 Prepare meals for guests to the highest standard and satisfaction

 Minimum 2 years’ experience in all aspects of making sushi and sashimi as well as rolls.

 Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station

 Be a team player; have lots of fun and support other teammates

Qualifications:

 Effective English communication skills

 Training in food and beverages – Certificate or Diploma

 At least two years working experience in a reputable Japanese Restaurant

 Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor

 Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends

 Likes dealing with people and loves making sushi
